Fortuitous fortune.

Roughly 36 hours from now, I’ll begin a journey (of a lifetime?) covering nearly 3,300 driving miles in 30 days. We’ll see Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, Mt. Rushmore, Grand Canyon, and – with any luck – the third-largest ball of twine.

As a family, this will be the greatest amount of time we’ll have spent together continuously. Let’s just say that it will be memorable.

With lots of excitement and some trepidation about the trip, I was surprised to receive foretelling guidance, courtesy of a lunchtime fortune cookie from earlier today:

Traveling to a new place will lead to a great transformation.

Since when did Vietnamese pho shops start distributing fortune cookies, anyway?
